Festival International de Théatre de Rue

Since its creation, the Festival attempts to welcome all the street artists who wish to perform in Aurillac Festival on the fringe of the programme.

In 2007, for the 22th edition, 459 companies gathered in Aurillac with 575 different shows. Now, the originality of this event turns the Rendez vous of the “off” companies into a great fair of the street theatre, in other words: a special event of artistic creation, research and circulation!

The Rendez vous of the “Off” companies will take place from 20th to 23rd August 2008.

HOW TO REGISTER AS AN "OFF" COMPANIES
A first programme will be online on our website at the beginnig of July, with all the professional companies that have let informed us about their wish to participate before March 31st .

All other companies, and all companies that register at the Festival after this deadline, will be aware of their schedule at their arrival in Aurillac. In addition, a daily programme of the “off” companies” will be issued from 20 to 23 August (price: 2.5€).

Note: after 31st March, due to space and time conditions, we are not anymore able to welcome shows that need the installation of a fixed structure (structures that have to stay at the same place for all the duration of the Festival like big tops, grandstands, tents or climbing frames) or the use of pyrotechnic (K3 or K4) or a power supply upper to 16 A / 220 volts.

Excepted these conditions, the companies can still register by sending an e-mail to cie.passage@aurillac.net providing the name of the company and a short description of the show (10 lines). If need be, the companies can also call the reception desk of the “off” companies (00 33) (0)4 71 43 43 74.

CATALOGUE
The catalogue of the companies provides a real bilingual address book of the companies in French and in English. Intended to the audience, to the professionals and the journalists, it presents the detailed content of each show (The companies included in this catalogue are only professional companies that perform during the Festival).This catalogue will be available around July 17th.
