Champ Libre

Since 2020, the ‘Champ libre!’ programme has taken over from ‘Les Préalables’. This tour across the department (and beyond), lasting between 10 days and three weeks in August, is always organised in close collaboration with local councils. It brings art into the daily life of towns and villages and fosters cooperation across the region.

In 2026, nearly 25 local authorities made a committed and enthusiastic choice to champion culture in their area and to welcome artists and audiences with conviction.
