Established in 1988 to oversee the organization of the International Street Theatre Festival in Aurillac, ÉCLAT association is recognized as the National Center for Street Arts and Public Space. Its motto? To bring together trends, aesthetics, practices, and disciplines; to open up to a wide diversity in the forms of performances as well as the origins of the artists. Moreover, it aims to support creation through a creative space entirely designed for street arts projects: Le Parapluie. Throughout the year, this National Center hosts numerous companies in residence and engages in various cultural activities and participatory projects, making ÉCLAT an indispensable independent public player in the territory.
