Les Productions PQTM – PLAYBACK FM (ou comment les médias m’ont appris à parler)
(Aix-en-Provence – France)
Sitting somewhere between a stand-up show, a drag queen performance, and a TV blooper reel, Valentin Dilas condenses 60 years of media speeches into 60 minutes. You know these sequences, you know these voices. Through caricature and parody, they now resonate in a completely different way.
Reincarnated on stage in a more real than life lip-sync, we may encounter Serge Gainsbourg, Sophie Marceau, David Pujadas, or even Snow White, all unknowingly answering the question: What makes a good speaker? And above all, what makes a failed speech?
Enjoy listening to PLAYBACK FM.
Les Productions Pour que tu m’aimes (PQTM) was founded through the collaboration of an artistic creator, an administrator, and a photographer. The company initially focused on the works of Valentin Dilas, whose creations are distinguished by their musicality, use of parody and pastiche, and critical perspective on the media. From PLAYBACK FM (2022) to PB FM Vol. 2 (2025), and with a future musical project in development, the company explores playback and hybrid performance forms. PQTM also creates bespoke performances and aims to support other artists working across multidisciplinary aesthetics.
Valentin Dilas, trained in Paris and Lyon, wrote Les Cendres de Pasolini in 2016. Now based in Marseille, he has developed a form of musical theatre that combines playback, cabaret, and autofiction, notably through PLAYBACK FM and PB FM Vol. 2. Valentin Dilas’s theatre is therefore deeply rooted in music. It is built upon three core pleasures: acting, writing through sound editing and montage, and the adaptability of a performance to different spaces.
