Faced with the rise of extremism and the rejection of others, Kamchàtka attempts large-scale catharsis — a first for this company, previously turned towards intimacy. Amid the ruins of a city, a multitude seeking refuge gathers for a truce. A blanket, a bowl of soup, a piece of bread — and memories of what was, what is, and what will be. Leaving home, crossing borders, confronting the unknown — departure is part of our nature. Today, this impulse collides with walls, repressive migration policies, and indifference. This nocturnal and musical show celebrates those who dare to take the road. We are many, and we will be many more. Don’t forget to bring a piece of bread.

Silences that resonate like screams. Born in Barcelona in 2006, Kamchàtka brings together artists from diverse backgrounds around immersive, political, and socially engaged theatre. Fugit, Alter, Habitaculum: through an epic performed over 500 times in 37 countries, they explore migration through a language of urgency, wordless and borderless, united by a radically poetic language. Fiction cracks, revealing raw reality beneath the surface.
