First there is this huge metal structure, a circular bridge between the earth and the stars. Twelve metres high, twelve metres wide, a ton of steel soaring into the sky, a Möbius ribbon stretched toward infinity. Then, as daylight falters, tightrope walkers embrace its curves and suspend themselves between earth and vertigo. Slowly, the structure rotates, blurring all points of reference: walking without going forward, floating without falling. Gravity malfunctions, stillness begins to drift. Each step questions, each gesture sketches an uncertain answer between heaviness and lightness. Time stops. So does breath. Before our eyes, the impossible becomes pure poetry: a living sculpture, a challenge hurled at the void, an emotion vast as the sky itself. And within this pulse, carried by live music, all bearings dissolve.

Turning imbalance into a way of holding on. Trained as a tightrope walker, Aurélien Prost co-founded Cirque Rouages in 2007, travelling through the skies with the company for over fifteen years (…Sodade…, Ondes__, Wonder Petrol). When the collective’s plays came apart in 2024, he launched Minuit Compagnie with Anouk Germser and Sarah Babani, driven by the desire to continue the dialogue between music, bodies and scenography, high above the ground and without backstage, on the edge of the void.
